What's the difference?

How to subscribe

iPhone & iPad

  1. Tap the Subscribe to Calendar button above.
  2. Confirm "Subscribe" when iOS prompts.
  3. Pick a calendar account (iCloud is fine), tap "Add."
  4. The calendar appears in your Calendar app under "Subscribed Calendars."

To change the refresh frequency: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Subscribed Calendars → tap the Taksa calendar → Refresh.

Mac (macOS Calendar)

  1. Open the Calendar app.
  2. From the menu bar: File → New Calendar Subscription…
  3. Paste https://taksa.app/calendar/liturgical.ics and click "Subscribe."
  4. Pick a refresh interval (we publish daily; Every day is the right choice).

Google Calendar

  1. Open Google Calendar on the web.
  2. In the left sidebar, click the + next to "Other calendars."
  3. Choose From URL.
  4. Paste https://taksa.app/calendar/liturgical.ics and click "Add calendar."

Google Calendar refreshes subscribed calendars at its own cadence (typically every several hours up to a day).

Outlook

  1. In Outlook Web, click Add calendar in the left sidebar.
  2. Choose Subscribe from web.
  3. Paste https://taksa.app/calendar/liturgical.ics, name it "Taksa Liturgical Calendar," and pick a color.
  4. Click Import.

What's included

Every entry comes from the same algorithm and source data the Taksa app uses:

What's not included: events that change year-by-year on the translator's pastoral judgment (Mar Mari, Mar Addai, Holy Family, the inner five Friday names of the Dinha cycle). Those stay in the app where they can be updated more granularly.

Privacy

The calendar feed is a static file. We don't track who subscribes, when they refresh, or what they do with the events. The URL is public — anyone with it can subscribe, but we don't collect anything from the request.
